How to participate

Participation is a hallmark of land stewardship. In the Land Stewardship Platform you can get involved in different ways:

CUSTODIA mailing list It is an e-mail forum made up of nearly 1,000 people and institutions. It is a place for meetings, discussions, and exchanges of experiences and knowledge, where relationships and joint projects between stewardship entities and other agents are facilitated.

You can subscribe via e-mail to listserv@listserv.rediris.es, including in the message “subscribe CUSTODIA your name and surname”. You can also contact the platform at custodiaterritorio@fundacion-biodiversidad.es and we will guide you to join the List.

If you are part of an entity that carries out land stewardship agreements or any other type of activity linked to this conservation tool, you can contact the Platform to incorporate your entity to the registry.

Agenda You can share information about a conference or other event through the following form.

Volunteering. Many land stewardship initiatives include volunteer actions, such as planting native species, elimination of invasive species, monitoring of fauna and flora through citizen science, cleaning of natural areas or support for people with reduced mobility to enjoy nature. In order to participate, you must contact the stewardship organizations that carry out these actions, which can be found in the Inventory of land stewardship initiatives in Spain. The Agenda is also open to include volunteer actions.

You can become a member of one or more existing organizations with which you feel particularly identified or you can consider creating your own organization. To do so, we recommend that you visit the section on Advice.

You can send us your ideas and proposals and proposals related to land stewardship that meet the objectives of the platform to be assessed and, where appropriate, developed within the framework of this project.
